Christmas in July on WETN-FM 88 and Online

On Friday, July 27, WETN, the FM radio station at Wheaton College, will offer its listeners some relief from the summer heat.

For 24 hours on Friday, July 27, Christmas music will take over the airwaves for the station’s annual “Christmas in July” celebration on radio and online. In addition to the music, WETN will give away a variety of gifts and prizes throughout the day.

Christmas music will begin at the stroke of midnight on Friday, continuing until midnight Saturday morning.

WETN is known for its vast library of Christmas songs, ranging from traditional favorites to eclectic, sacred to popular, and classic to current. With the opportunity to hear more than 2,000 Christmas songs, the WETN audience will enjoy an array of celebrated ensembles and popular artists from the past and present.

Morning show host Joy Curry’s “Joy in the Morning” broadcast will feature guests and giveaways including gift certificates to 1800Flowers.com, Fannie May, The Popcorn Factory, Cantigny Golf’s Red Oak Room, Kane County Cougars Baseball, Brookfield Zoo, Hasbro and much more. “Joy in the Morning” airs from 6 to 10 a.m. Central Standard Time.

WETN is available 24 hours a day on radio, on television, and online. In and around DuPage County, tune in at 88.1 FM. WETN-TV is available to Comcast Cable customers in Wheaton (Channel 72) West Chicago (Channel 10), and Warrenville and Winfield (Channel 17). To listen online, visit wetn.org.
