Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem

The Artist Series at Wheaton College presents Brahms' Ein Deutsches Requiem, featuring the Wheaton College Symphony Orchestra, Concert Choir, Men's Glee Club and Women's Chorale. The Apollo Chorus of Chicago and the Northern Illinois University Concert Choir will also be performing. John Nelson, one of the world's most versatile and accomplished conductors, returns to the Artist Series stage to direct Brahms' largest, most reflective and best-loved pieces.

As a pre-concert event, Wheaton College President Dr. Philip Ryken will host a retrospective look at the United States, Leipzig, China and Wheaton in 1868. This event is free and open to the public and begins at 6:15 p.m.
