Bike Valet Service Available at Taste of Wheaton

Submitted by city of Wheaton

You can skip searching for a parking spot at the Taste of Wheaton June 7 by using two wheels instead of four.

The Wheaton Bicycle Advisory Committee encourages you to take advantage of free valet bike parking between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014.

Volunteers from the Bicycle Advisory Committee will be stationed on Karlskoga Avenue (along the south side of Memorial Park) and will provide you with a numbered ticket.

When you are done enjoying festivities at the Taste of Wheaton, simply return to the bike station with your ticket, and a volunteer will retrieve your bike for you. This is a free service; no tips will be accepted.

Wheaton’s Bicycle Advisory Committee is a division of the Environmental Improvement Commission, with a goal of promoting bike riding and bicycle safety in the community.
