Actor Gary Sinese to Perform at Wheaton Fund-Raising Event

Famous actor Gary Sinese and the band he co-founded will perform in coming weeks at Cantigny Park as part of a fund-raising effort for Operation Support Our Troops.
Gary Sinese and the Lt. Dan Band will headline at a July 19 Rockin' For the Troops Concert at Cantigny Park, 1s151 N Winfield Road in Wheaton. Gates open at noon.
Gary Sinese and the Lt. Dan Band is named after Sinese's character in Forest Gump and features Sinese on bass guitar. The purpose of OSOT-America is to provide comfort, resources and education to military and their families while they are deployed and after their return.
"The concert is OSOT-America's main fundraiser and funds our comfort and care package program to our military serving in harm's way, as well as programs to help our active duty military, veterans, and their families," said Linda Tuisl, marketing and public relations director for OSOT-America, in an e-mail.
Other performers at the Wheaton performance include Audio Adrenaline, The Voices, and the Sempletons.
Tickets are still available online for the event at $25 per person.
