Week in Review: Plane Crash Kills Student, New Cub Moves to Wheaton and More

David DeJesus, who signed with the Chicago Cubs Wednesday, Nov. 30, bought a house in Wheaton, according to the Chicago Tribune.

Park officials approved an extension to the district's letter of commitment with Fairway Suites, LLC, to explore the potential of building an extended-stay hotel at Arrowhead Golf Club.

Officials approved a measure to remove restrooms from the plans for improvements at Kelly Park in order to reduce the cost of the project. The board will re-open bids for most construction costs after previous bids came in too high.

Billy Graham was admitted to an Asheville, NC hospital Wednesday for evaluation of his lungs. He has been diagnosed with pneumonia and remains at the hospital in stable condition, according to his website.
