Part of Main Street to Close for Emergency Sewer Repairs
Northbound traffic in downtown Wheaton will be rerouted during storm sewer repairs on Main Street.
Main Street between Willow Avenue and Liberty Drive in downtown Wheaton will close for emergency storm sewer repairs Tuesday, Oct. 9, the city of Wheaton announced Monday.
The road will be closed to northbound traffic and rerouted at Willow Avenue to Cross Street, north to Liberty Drive and back west to Main Street. Southbound traffic will not be affected.
Public works crews should complete the work Tuesday. The detour may be reinstated temporarily on Wednesday for pavement restoration.
