1. CABARET FUNDRAISER
Where/When: 6:30 p.m. Friday at , 3003 Corporate West Dr., Lisle.
Why Go: Proceeds from this annual benefit the West Suburban Community Pantry.
Pricing: $60.

2. COMEDY NIGHT
Where/When: 8 p.m. Friday at The Bank Restaurant & Bar, 121 W Front St, Wheaton.
Why Go: The Chicago All-Stars. Includes appetizers and one drink per person.
Pricing: $70 per couple.

3. RACHEL BARTON PINE WITH EARTHEN GRAVE
Where/When:  8 p.m. Friday at North Central College, Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave, Naperville.
Why Go: The classical violin virtuoso with the heavy metal rock band.
Pricing: $25-$35.

4. PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE
Where/When: 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Center State Theater, 1665 Quincy Ave., Naperville.
Why Go: Steve Martin's comic about a chance meeting between Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso.
Pricing: $20.

5. OPEN MIC SOIREE
Where/When: 7 p.m. Saturday at Theosophical Society in America, 1926 N. Main St., Wheaton.
Why Go: music, comedy and poetry. To sign up, call 630-668-1571 or email library@theosophical.org. Open Mic benefits the Henry S. Olcott Memorial Library.
Pricing: $5, free for performers and those who bring vegetarian food to share.
