Girl Scout Troop 50368 plans bake sale and book drive to raise money and collect items for a Little Free Library in Cosley Zoo.

Wheaton Girl Scout Troop 50368 on Saturday will host their "Sham 'Rockin' Bake and Craft Sale" to raise money to put a Little Free Library in Cosley Zoo, the troop announced in a news release.

Troop 50368—a St. Michael School troop—will sell hanky keepers, memory boards and cup cozies, cookies, brownies, breads and whoopee pies from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Studio 209, 109 W. Front St. Wheaton.

Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

The troop will also run a book collection to support the Little Free Library. They're looking for animal-themed books for ages 0-7, according to the release. The Little Free Library project is the troop's Bronze Award achievement.

These girls are a Junior Girl Scout troop of 13 5th grade girls. This project is something that they have worked on for the past 5 months. They have done all of the work themselves (including writing this press release).
