There is plenty to do this weekend

It’s Thursday, and you’ve got no idea what you’ll do for the weekend. Patch is coming to the rescue. We’ve got the best bets for when you're done with work and ready to get out. Check our picks for the activities to hit.

1. TAR CREEK

Why Go: “Tar Creek” is a about the environmental disaster at the Superfund site in Pitcher, OK. The  screening will be followed by a discussion about the Superfund initiative, a federal program designed to clean up the nation’s uncontrolled hazardous waste sites.

2. SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CONCERT
Where/When: 8 p.m. Saturday at , 501 College Ave.
Why Go: The Wheaton College Symphony performs.
Pricing: $6, $4 for students and seniors over 60.

3. COMEDY NIGHT

Why Go: Bob Jay tops the with host Bert Borth and other special guests.

4. BEAUTIFUL BAROQUE
Where/When: 4 p.m. Sunday at Koten Chapel, North Central College, 329 E. School St., Naperville.
Why Go: The DuPage Symphony performs the second chamber of the season. The first half of the performance highlights French Baroque; the second half showcases music of the international Baroque style.
