Community Corner

Blessing of the Animals

First Pres invites the community and their beloved pets to a special outdoor service that will be held on Saturday morning, October 6th, at 10:00 a.m. in the courtyard. This service, known as the Blessing of the Animals, honors the life and ministry of St. Francis, who saw nature and animals as God’s beloved creation. In this service, we will thank God for our pets, as participants bring their pets forward to meet one of the pastors. This is an especially meaningful service for children.
