The National Weather Service Chicago says we'll get 1 to 3 more inches Friday night and dangerous cold again Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.
Wind gusts up to 35 mph will create blowing and drifting snow Friday night. Isolated locations — especially near Interstate 55 — could get up to 4 inches of new snow.
The combination of new snow and wind will create "near white-out conditions," the NWS-C says.
More snow on Sunday and "localized river flooding" remains possible, due to ice jams.
The four horsemen of the apocalypse would love this weather.
