Cosley Zoo Offers Unique Zoo Nightlife Experience

Submitted by the Cosley Zoo.

This summer, families can get an up-close and personal look at the nightlife at Wheaton’s Cosley Zoo. Zoo Nightlife is the perfect event for curious children and adult night owls who have ever wondered what a zoo is like after dark. This event takes place on Friday, June 20 from 7-10 pm. (Rain date is Friday, June 27.)

Capturing the essence of any memorable summer “camp out,” activities during Zoo Nightlife will include a campfire, s’mores, and guided night hike. Additionally, participants will have a chance to interact with the animals and staff of Cosley Zoo.

Sue Wahlgren, Cosley Zoo’s director, says, “This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the staff and animals in a more in-depth and personal way than guests are able to do during a typical visit at Cosley Zoo. They’ll learn new things about these animals and their habits.”

Cost for Zoo Nightlife is $6 for ages 2-12, $9 for ages 13-adult, and free for children under 2.
