Look back on some of the big-time names we've heard about in Wheaton

Every so often, a news story comes across the desk about Wheaton natives making names for themselves, or widely-known names stopping in town. From Mitt Romney to Sean Rooney, here are some big names in the news on Wheaton Patch in 2012:

Mitt Romney visted a Wheaton home March 20 for a fundraiser on primary night.

Wheaton College student Alyssa Paulsen competed for the USA Ambassador Miss national pageant title and spread her message of inner beauty to the community. She won the entire competition and was , in September.

 to take over as head chef at The Bank Restaurant. He revamped the menu to feature meals with local, sustainable products at lower prices. 

Wheaton Honors 8 "Good Citizens" for Volunteer Services (May 23)
