Windsor Park Hosts a Festive Christmas Open House

Enjoy Victorian carolers, the Swedish American Children’s Choir, and carriage rides at the Dec. 13 event.

Carol Stream, Ill. – November 25, 2013 – You may think you stepped back in time during Windsor Park’s Christmas Open House on Friday, Dec. 13 from 4 to 7 p.m., at 124 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Stream.

Discover the beauty of the retirement community’s 60 acres from a horse-drawn carriage. Step inside the decorated Centrum for refreshments while carolers in Victorian-era attire entertain. Plus, attendees can enter to win a decorated tabletop tree to be delivered to the recipient’s home.

The free event concludes with a performance by the Swedish American Children’s Choir at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.  In honor of St. Lucia Day, the Batavia-based group will perform songs in both English and Swedish. The choir is in its 14th season and is the largest of its kind in the Midwest for children from age four to 17.
