Jorgio's Cigars in Wheaton Becomes First Tobacconist in IL to Carry Leccia Black and White Cigars

Jorgio’s Cigars announces that it is the first tobacconist in Illinois to carry Leccia Black and White cigars.

The legendary Sam Leccia returns to the cigar business with Leccia Tobacco. Sam was the face behind both Nub and Cain cigars. Sam has been absent from the industry for several years and is now back in a long awaited return by cigar smokers and retail tobacconists throughout the United States.

The Black & White brand has two blends, one called Black and one called White. White is being rolled by a small cigarmaker in Nicaragua, while Black is being rolled in a small factory in the Dominican Republic. Black features a leaf of fire-cured tobacco, seldom used in the cigar business. (Almost all cigar tobaccos are air cured.) “I have never smelled anything like this,” said Leccia. “It’s dark fired, it’s wood cured, which gives it that smoky aroma—it’s incredible.”

“We are very excited to have been chosen to represent Leccia Tobacco,” said Mike Hansen of Jorgio’s Cigars.  “This is yet another example of how our efforts to become a leading tobacconist for unique, boutique and hard-to-find cigars are being recognized,” said Hansen.

The cigars will be available to select customers on a pre-release basis beginning Friday, July 19th. The general public can begin purchasing Leccia Cigars on Monday, July 22nd.
