Inspirational Speaker Diana Anastazia to Present “Love of Freedom” at Windsor Park

The Public is Invited to Ignite the Spirit of Freedom at a Celebration on July 16 in Carol Stream.

Windsor Park, a Covenant Retirement Community in Carol Stream, invites the community to join in a  celebration that honors America’s heroes in uniform and the ideals they defend.

“Love of Freedom: Igniting the Spirit of Freedom for Generations to Come” will take place on Tuesday, July 16. It will begin with a Presentation of the Colors at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Windsor Park, 124 Windsor Park Drive.

The evening of food, fun, and freedom will feature special guest Diana Anastazia, the daughter of a Polish Catholic Holocaust survivor. Inspired by her father’s story and his ongoing thanks to America, she will present a heartfelt tribute and story. Anastazia is the leader of Project Join Us, a product design company that motivates people to show gratitude to veterans and service men and women.

God Bless The Troops will display the art print “America’s Anthem,” which was designed by the nephew of the original World War ll bomber and architect of the Berlin Airlift/Candy Bombers. The print was released on July 4 in honor of America’s freedom.  Modern day candy bomber retired Capt. Michael Saubert will share his story as well.

After the tribute, guests from some of the organizations Project Join Us supports will meet with attendees. Nonprofits who benefit from Project Join Us sales are the National Honor Flight Network through VNC, the National League of POW/MIA Families, Citizenship Counts, ConnectVets.org, and AllenForce: All Veterans, All Eras.

Enjoy all-American food, a mini candy buffet, special guests and surprises. Please R.S.V.P. to (877) 816-8397 or at www.RetireAtWindsorPark.com/rsvp
