DuPage Medical Group Opens Wheaton Medical Office Building
DuPage Medical Group, the largest independent, multi-specialty physician group in the Chicago area, is set to open and begin accepting patients at its new facility on April 14, at 150 E. Willow Ave. in downtown Wheaton.
Staffed by 21 DMG physicians, the three-story, 40,000-square-foot Wheaton Medical Office Building offers family medicine, internal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology. It also features a complete physical and occupational therapy suite, on-site laboratory, anticoagulation clinic and radiology suite with mammography services, as well as the BreakThrough Care Center, an outpatient clinic for patients with chronic conditions. Like other BreakThrough Care Center sites, the Wheaton location includes health coaches, a dietician, a pharmacist, physical therapists and social services resources.
The facility was designed to provide accessible health services to Wheaton and the surrounding communities in a centralized location. The building will occupy the space that was formerly the site of Jewel Osco supermarket in downtown Wheaton.

”The Wheaton Medial Office Building is a valuable asset, not only for the local community, but also for area patients to continue to receive quality medical care,” says DMG Chief Operating Officer Dennis Fine. “We are excited to be part of the revitalization of downtown Wheaton. Our goal with this building is to allow patients to conveniently schedule appointments for care and ancillary services in one location.”
Wheaton Mayor Michael Gresk also commended the development of the Wheaton MOB during his State of the City address last January, citing the facility as, “an important investment and a welcome addition to Wheaton.” Gresk later said the Wheaton MOB, “offers the community a new level of medical care and convenience, while DMG patients and staff will benefit from nearby shopping, dining and other commercial retail services.”
