Celebrate the Season with Songs of Joy and Inspiration at Windsor Park

Enjoy music from four ensembles and refreshments at the Dec. 15 Christmas Around the Tree event.

Carol Stream, Ill. – November 26, 2013 – Residents of Windsor Park, a Covenant Retirement Community, invite the public to their annual Christmas Around the Tree celebration. The musical program takes place on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at 124 Windsor Park Dr., Carol Stream.

The four Windsor Park music ensembles will each perform two songs. The ensembles include the Windsor Chorale, a mixed-voice group; Men of Melody; Treble Clef, a women’s ensemble; and the Carillon Ringers, a handbell choir.

Attendees arriving a half-hour early for this free event can enjoy music while viewing the Christmas tree in the Centrum. The tree also serves as the centerpiece for refreshments after the concert.

The resident-run Performing Arts Task Force organizes and directs the four musical ensembles. The Windsor Park Center for Lifelong Learning plans enrichment and growth opportunities for residents and the public under the guidance of three resident-run task forces.
