B.R. Ryall YMCA Charity Golf Event Three Weeks Away

B.R. Ryall YMCA’s 15th Annual Charity Golf Event is being held Tuesday, June 17. Steve Kashul, ESPN Radio’s voice of the Chicago Bulls and host of the Golf Scene, is the Master of Ceremonies for this year’s outing taking place at Arrowhead Golf Club in Wheaton. This event provides an opportunity for supporters to learn about the Y and the impact the Y has made in local communities.

“The golf event helps raise awareness that the Y is a charity and through generous financial contributions from the community we are able to provide much needed programs and services to families in the communities we serve,” says Michelle Daniels, Interim CEO/COO of the B.R. Ryall YMCA. The Y’s financial assistance program can help a struggling single-parent afford quality child care, a family who lost their home enjoy the benefits of membership, a teen who is alone during the day enjoy a summer camp program, and a senior have a place to connect with friends.

The Y is a 501 (c) (3) charitable organization and leading nonprofit committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.  Supporting the Y means belonging to a movement that gives children, adults and families the opportunity to learn and grow, while making communities healthier and stronger.

Join us for a day of golf in good company; foursomes and sponsorship opportunities are still available. The event includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, games, dinner and auction. Some auction items include: 2014 Masters Golf Tournament Pin Flag autographed by hometown hero Kevin Streelman; White Sox Tickets, four scout seats; Six Cubs rooftop tickets; Big Foot Country Club golf foursome in Wisconsin; Chicago Bears Tickets, final 2014 home game vs. Detroit Lions; 2014 Notre Dame vs Michigan Football tickets, final game in storied series.
