JOHN BELUSHI - RANDY PFUND INDUCTED INTO WHEATON COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL OLD TIMERS MEN'S ALUMNI CLUB

The Wheaton Old Timer's Alumni Club recently inducted John Belushi (Wheaton Central - '67) and Randy Pfund (Wheaton North - '69) at their annual meeting.

Belushi was the captain of the WCHS football team and presided as homecoming king. He went on to star at Second City in Chicago before becoming a star and cornerstone of Saturday Night Live in New York. John starred in several movies; most notably, Animal House and The Blues Brothers.

Randy Pfund was an outstanding three sport athlete at Wheaton North High School. After graduating from Wheaton College ( where he averaged over 25 pts per game his senior year, Randy became the freshman B coach at Glenbard South High School. His subsequent coaching career led him to become the head coach for the Los Angeles Lakers. Pfund went on to become the general manager for the World Champions Miami Heat.
