If you thought 90 degreets and a heat index of 99 were bad Monday, the partly sunny, hot and humic conditions will continue today, according to AccuWeather.
Tuesday’s heat index will be the same as the 96-degree high that’s forecast, AccuWeather reports, and the overnight low won’t be much different — the low 70s — than was forecast for overnight Monday. Tonight, however, AccuWeather preducts a 25 percent chance of precipitation leading into Wednesday, which should not be quite as hot but may see thunderstorms later in the day.
There are several items on today’s agenda:
9:30 a.m. — Woman’s Department Club of Wheaton: Gary United Methodist Church, 224 N. Main.
10 to 10:30 a.m. — Book Break Storytimes for ages 3-5: Wheaton Public Library, 225 N. Cross St.
