Wednesday, February 13, at Abbington Banquets, 3S002 Route 53 in Glen Ellyn, the Glen Ellyn Wheaton Community Associates of the Art Institute of Chicago provide a unique and fascinating program for their members and guests. Jeffrey Mishur, vice president of Art Excursions, and Illinois Humanities Council speaker will share his knowledge of one of the most exciting times in American history. The audience is invited to imagine themselves as flappers in the Roaring Twenties. Travel back in time with Mishur as he explores the fashion, music and art during this exciting, yet volatile period.
Reservations for this event are available from January 14 through January 25. Cost for members is $30, cost for guests is $35. Guests should call 630-469-5160 for information.
The Glen Ellyn Wheaton Community Associates of the Art Institute welcomes guests to this Valentine event. Doors open at 12:30 P.M, a lite lunch will be served and the program follows the refreshments.
