Phil Madeira is a Nashville-based Americana/roots music artist who is in demand both as a sideman for veteran acts including Emmylou Harris and Buddy Miller, and as a songwriter for country music stars including Toby Keith, The Civil Wars and Alison Krauss. Madeira's career features notable collaborations with Phil Keaggy, Cindy Morgan and The Lost Dogs. Madeira has appeared with Solomon Burke, Elvis Costello and Patty Griffin. His latest project is entitled “Mercyland: Hymns for the Rest of Us.”
Jeff Elbel (of Ping), a Wheaton-based pop/rock/folk musician who has performed and recorded with Madeira, will perform a short opening set. Elbel is supporting Ping’s new “Gallery” album.
