Upcoming Events (and a Rave Review)

This is the final week for The Heiress. Remaining performances are Thursday (9/27), Friday (9/28) and Saturday (9/29) at 8pm; Sunday (9/30) at 3pm. Tickets and details at  http://www.wheatondrama.org/show/the-heiress/.

If you've not seen the show yet, perhaps this rave review will inspire you:

"...Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the show on Thursday evening. When I received the email notice, I knew that I would enjoy the costuming as much as I did. Very sumptuous and well done (costumes by Susan Hajny). I had recently read a story about an heiress, so I was in the mood. The good part was that the story had enough to it to keep John interested and both of us hanging to the end unable to predict her decision or his mistake. The last thing that drew me to attend was noting that Sean Ogren was in the cast. He delivered once again, as did the entire cast.  How did the heroine (Lisa Schmela) manage to look as though she was floating every step? I especially liked the performance of the maid (Ellen Daschler) - so key and so spot on. Just thought I should let you know. Feel free to share my remarks wherever you would like."

Thank you, Cindy Heisler. We certainly will! Cindy also sent a follow-up email -

"I forgot to mention the well done set. The couple near us said that they would love to have the molding and wainscoting in their home. I told them Keith (deBolt, set construction) had his own business.

The gentleman said the everything he has ever attended has always been cast perfectly down to the most minor character. Thanks to all for a delightful evening."

Auditions announced for Sherlock Holmes: The Final Adventure. Details at http://www.wheatondrama.org/show/sherlock-holmes-the-final-adventure/

special limited engagement performance has been added to the 2012-2013 season! Details to come! (Who said we were not busy enough?!)
