Wheaton Teen Charged With Underage Drinking, Controlled Substance

Police charged John Fuster, 19, of the 100 block of Secretariat Court in Wheaton with underage drinking and possession of a controlled substance. He was charged near the intersection of Brighton and Richton drives around 1:45 a.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

SATURDAY, AUG. 11

Drug Paraphernalia

Police issued a local ordinance citation to an 18-year-old Wheaton woman for possession of drug paraphernalia. She was cited near the intersection of Dawes Avenue and President Street around 5:45 p.m. and released on the scene.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 10

Teen Charged with Marijuana, Drug Paraphernalia

Police charged Ryan Berce, 19, of Carol Stream with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was cited near the intersection of Harrison and Main streets around 1:30 p.m., booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

Two Teens Charged with Theft, Alcohol Possession

Police charged two teens with retail theft and illegal alcohol possession at the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office. Kevin Simmons, 19, of the 1200 block of Roosevelt Road in Wheaton, was charged with retail theft, alcohol possession and obstructing identification around 6:30 p.m. Javonte Hilton, 19, of Carol Stream, was charged with retail theft and alcohol possession. Both were booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

THURSDAY, AUG. 9

Disorderly Conduct, Drug Paraphernalia

Police issued a local ordinance citation to a 19-year-old Plainfield man for disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was cited around 5 p.m. in the 500 block of Turf Lane and released later that night.

THURSDAY, AUG. 2

Marijuana Citation

Police issued a local ordinance citation for marijuana possession to a 19-year-old Warrenville man. He was cited near the intersection of Fapp Circle and Roosevelt Road around midnight and released on the scene.
