Police issued local ordinance citations to an Aurora man for illegal marijuana possession and possession of drug paraphernalia Sunday, Jan. 22. Maxwell Abens, 18, drove a red 1994 Chevy S-10 near the intersection of Beverly Street and Roosevelt Road around 4 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

Invalid license

Police arrested Amanda Fernandez, 22, of Naperville for driving with an invalid license Wednesday, Jan. 25. Fernandez drove a green 1995 Mercury near the intersection of Butterfield and Orchard roads around 1 p.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that day.

Police arrested a Lombard man for driving without a valid license Tuesday, Jan. 24. Juan Daza-Hernandez, 24, drove a white 1992 Dodge Caravan near the intersection of Geneva Road and Hallmark Court around 12 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested a Warrenville man for driving without a valid license Monday, Jan. 23. Sergio Quinones, 20, drove a white 1998 Honda Civic near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Scottdale Circle around 9:40 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested a 21-year-old Glendale Heights woman for driving without a valid license Friday, Jan. 20. She drove a black Ford Explorer near the intersection of President and Ranch streets when police stopped her. She was released on the scene.

Police arrested a Wheaton man for driving without a valid license Wednesday, Jan. 18. Marti Tiedeman, 35, of the 1000 block of Wheaton Avenue, drove a black 2011 Honda near the intersection of Geneva Road and Main Street around 6 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Police arrested a Wheaton man for driving with no valid license Wednesday, Jan. 18. Santiago Garcia, 27, drove a black 2000 Toyota near the intersection of Longfellow Street and Naperville Road around 10 p.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.

Warrant arrests

Police arrested a Warrenville man on a warrant for failure to appear Thursday, Jan. 19. Antonio Brooks, 25, was arrested near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Legends Street around 1 a.m., and taken to DuPage County Jail, according to the police report.

Police arrested a Wheaton man on a DuPage County warrant for failure to pay fines Thursday, Jan. 19. Tom Allen, 41, of the 1900 block of Lancaster Street, was arrested around 1 a.m. near the intersection of Blanchard and Darwin streets and taken to DuPage County Jail.
