Police arrested a Schaumburg woman for driving under the influence of alcohol Sunday, Jan. 15. Francis Ekkert, 26, drove a black 2002 Dodge Dakota near the intersection of Butterfield and West Loop roads around 4 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Jaime Bach of Carol Stream for driving under the influence of alcohol Sunday, Jan. 15. Bach, 25, drove a black 1997 Chevy Monte Carlo near the intersection of Della Street and Gary Avenue around 1:40 a.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested Timothy DePaola of Tinley Park for dirving under the influence of alcohol and aggravated fleeing and eluding police Saturday, Jan. 14. DePaola, 25, drove a silver 2008 Ford Focus near the intersection of Roosevelt Road and Westhaven Street around 12:45 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.

Police arrested a Winfield man for a count of aggravated driving under the influence of alcohol, a hit and run, driving with an invalid license and failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash Thursday, Jan. 12. Kevin Negus, 43, drove a red 2010 Chevy Equinox near the intersection of Jefferson and Williams when the crash occurred. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department around 11 a.m. and released later that day.
