Attempted Break-in

Someone tried to pry open a window of a 1997 Ford Ranger in the 700 block of Crescent Street between 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 26 and 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, June 27. They did not gain entry to the car.

Mailbox Smashed

Someone smashed a $200 mailbox in the 1900 block of Dorset Drive between 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 26 and 7 a.m. Wednesday.

Property Spray Painted

A utility box in the 600 block of Somerset Lane was sprayed with paint around 9 a.m.

Car Window Broken

Someone broke the rear window of a 1998 Dodge parked in a driveway in the 0-100 block of Danada Drive between 8:50 and 10 p.m.

Rice Poured in Gas Tank

Someone put rice in the gas tank of a blue 2008 Chevy Equinox in the 1200 block of Reading Court between 6:30 p .m. Friday, June 22 and 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23.

FRIDAY, JUNE 22

Shot Breaks Window

Someone shot a BB gun pellet through a window in the 2000 block of Gary Avenue between 5 p.m. Thursday, June 21 and 10 a.m. Friday, June 22. The cost of damage is $500, police said.

THURSDAY, JUNE 21

Door Broken at Wheaton Business

Someone broke the glass door of a business in the 1100 block of Butterfield Road around 2:20 p.m.
