With that said, if these kids were white they should be placed in the paper regardless. The public wants to be reassured that the crime is solved. I live a few houses down from one of these homes. My neighbor called me today to let me know her 12 year old daughter was home from school today and ask me to keep and eye on things. I'm sure this arrest brings some relief to people and the WPD can take credit for there speedy work.

I don't know details about Ms Erickson traffic violations, but someone breaking into your home is a major concern for most people. There is a reason why we have differences between misdemeanors and felony crimes.

Its unfortunate these kids did such a stupid and dangerous thing, they will have a face a judge and jury and take there punishment.

I don't believe photos of people charged with DUIs have ever been posted in Patch. The city of Wheaton has always posted photos of arrested individual in their regular email updates. Patch isn't singling out anyone that the city hasn't gotten to first.

What has happened Danielle is that a Patch poster by the name of Francis Urquhart posted a nasty rant about the Patch editor and then attacked another individual who posted. What you see above is what's left of the conversation because Francis Urquhart deleted his/her posts. That's why this makes no sense. Francis Urquhart was vicious and nasty and people started calling Frank or Frannie out. Apparently they like to be the only one calling people out, thus the deletion of their rants.

You are most correct Lisa. I was viscious, nasty and completely unfair to Charlotte. That is why I pulled the post down. It just breaks my heart to see young men that have their lives ruined by their own actions have their faces splattered about the Patch, and my emotions got the better of me. I humbly apologize.

Francis, My question to you is, how would you have seen pictures you claim Ms. Eriksen posted of herself if you were not a "friend" of her's on another media site? I'm just going out on a limb and guessing, you aren't really a 'Francis', you are someone else who has access to Ms. Eriksen's personal information, someone she had considered a friend, but after your rant this past Saturday, I'm hoping she realizes who you truly are and dismisses you. I'm assuming Ms Eriksen is not posting personal pictures on Patch.
Also, who cares who paid for her attorney, it's none of your business or anyone else's for that matter. It's her right to take care of her issues, not your right to judge and post that publicly. Jeanne, I got it!!!! Francis Urquhart is a fictional character in an English potical drama called House of Cards. He becomes Prime Minister after Margaret Thatcher, and then comes up with all sorts of devious political tricks to stay in power and defeat his rivals. Therefore, I believe our Francis is a professional student of politics and more than likely a lawyer or other such educated type that think they are smart by understanding British politics and culture. My money is on anyone of your opponents for District 42 because they are all political operatives.
