I'm so sad to hear this woman is in critical condition. My prayers are with her and her family. I believe the press release regarding the time of this accident is incorrect. I actually saw this accident right after it happened. I was coming out of the Jewel Osco right there at the corner of Main St. and Geneva Rd. in Wheaton shortly after 5:30 p.m. and I was unable to turn right onto Geneva Rd. right there because of the accident scene. At that time, some of the police vehicles that were controlling traffic from turning there were just coming on the scene. It looked as though it had just happened minutes before. I did not see any emergency vehicles at all in this area when I arrived at Jewel Osco shortly before 5:30 p.m., nor was there an accident scene in this area around 4:15 p.m. when I drove through there for another errand earlier. I believe the time on the press release is incorrect. I will continue to pray for complete healing for this woman!

Dear Concerned Citizen, thank you very much for your kind words. I am Barbara Meagher's brother, Jim. I was out of town, when my Dad called me, last night with the horrible news. My sister, is in critical condition at Loyola Med. Center. It seems our family is getting conflicting information, from the police, and a witness, as to how the accident, actually happened ?. Any information from you, or other witnesses, would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You, Jim Meagher
