Park District Announces Parade Winners
Seven groups and floats awarded after Labor Day parade in downtown Wheaton.
The Wheaton Park District announced the winners of its Labor Day parade on Monday, Sept. 3 in downtown Wheaton.
The judges included Jerry Hayes, Estella Hayes, Doug Davison, and Evelyn Pacino Sanguinetti who chose seven award winners from more than 80 parade groups and floats.

- Mayor’s Spirit- DuPage County Historical Museum
- Best Musical Entry- Wheaton Municipal Band
- Bart Loiacono Most Creative- Northern Outlaws
- Best Use of Theme- St. John Lutheran Church and School
- Most Patriotic- Marine Corp Color Guard DuPage County
- Best Political Entry- Citizens for Dillard
The winners were notified and awarded trophies.
