Large Crowds Expected for Eric Lederman Services
Extra parking, transportation planned for services for Eric Lederman. Lederman, 12, died April 12 after he was hit by a baseball in Wheaton the day before.
In anticipation of over-flow crowds at both the wake and funeral for Eric Lederman Wednesday and Thursday, District 308 has scheduled shuttle buses to and from the funeral home.
Additional parking will be available at the Montgomery VFW Hall, Montgomery Village Hall and the former Mill Tavern parking lots. A wake will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Dieterle Memorial Home, 1120 S. Broadway, Montgomery. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, also at Dieterle's.
Eric is the 12-year-old Oswego boy who died April 12 after accidentally being hit in the neck by a baseball during a traveling team game the day before in Wheaton.
