1. CINDERELLA
Where/When: 8 a.m. Friday at McAninch Arts Center, College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
Why Go: Von Heidecke's Chicago Festival Ballet's production of Prokofiev's "Cinderella."
Pricing: $37; $35 for seniors, $27 for youth.
2. IDES OF MARCH
Where/When: 8 p.m. Saturday at North Central College Pfeiffer Hall, 310 E. Benton Ave., Naperville.
Why Go: The band toured with Led Zeppelin, the Allman Brothers and the Grateful Dead. It was founded in 1965 in Berwyn by six grade school friends.
Pricing: $25-$35.
3. CHORALE SPRING CONCERT
Where/When: 8 p.m. Friday and 3 p.m. Saturday at College Church, 332 E. Seminary Ave., Wheaton.
Why Go: The Glen Ellyn-Wheaton Chorale will present its spring concert, "Songs of Life, Love and Eternity." The concert will feature a performance of Gabriel Fauré's Requiem. Saturday's concert includes a pre-concert discussion of Requiem with Musical Director Greg Wheatley from 2-2:30 p.m. in the College Church Fireside Room.
Pricing: $17 adults ($15 in advance), $14 students/seniors ($12 in advance).
4. OPEN MIC SOIREE
Where/When: 7-10 p.m. Saturday at Theosophical Society in America, 1926 N. Main St., Wheaton.
Why Go: Music, comedy and poetry benefits the Henry S. Olcott Memorial Library.
Pricing: $5; free for performers and those who bring vegetarian foods to share.
5. JUST DANCE
Where/When: 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunday at Center Ice of DuPage, 1n450 Highland Ave., Glen Ellyn.
Why Go: Members of the Center Ice Skating Academy show off their moves. Skating groups will be divided by levels and those routines will be peppered with guest skaters, solos, duets, and performances by each of the Precicettes Synchronized Skating Teams.
