DUI, Obstructing Officer
Police charged Kristen Janfrancisco, 40, of Bolingbrook with driving under the influence of alcohol and Steven Thomas, 41, of the 1500 block of Orth Drive in Wheaton with obstructing an officer. Janfrancisco drove a blue 2008 Toyota Prius near Thomas’ home around 2:30 a.m. when police stopped her. They were booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
DUI
Police charged David Santini, 50, of Chicago with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a green 1997 Ford Taurus near the intersection of Naperville and Roosevelt roads around 1 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
SATURDAY, JAN. 12
Patio Chairs Stolen
Someone stole $300 in wicker patio chairs from a porch in the 1100 block of East Liberty Drive in Wheaton between 11 p.m. Jan. 11 and 8:45 a.m. Jan. 12.

DUI
Police charged Kevin Beirne, 30, of Lombard with driving under the influence of alcohol. He drove a white 2004 Chevy Cavalier near the intersection of Butterfield Road and Raider Lane around 1:20 a.m. when police stopped him. He was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that morning.
FRIDAY, JAN. 11
Driving Without a License
Police charged Michele Laterzo, 23, of Lisle with driving without a license. She drove a maroon 2004 Mitsubishi near the intersection of Illinois and Main streets around 10:50 p.m. when police stopped her. She was booked at the Wheaton Police Department and released later that night.
THURSDAY, JAN. 10
Laptop Stolen
Someone stole a $400 laptop from an office in the 400 block of East Franklin Street between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Cash, $300 Headphones Stolen
Someone stole $50 and a pair of $300 headphones from an unlocked Mustang parked in the 1000 block of Briarbrook Drive between 4 and 11 a.m.
WEDNESDAY, JAN. 9
Bike Theft
Someone stole a $200 bike left unlocked at the train depot at 402 Front Street between 8:30 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Marijuana
Police issued a local ordinance citation to Enrique Rivera, 21, of Carol Stream for marijuana possession. He was cited at the intersection of Main and Indiana streets around 1:45 a.m. and released on the scene.
TUESDAY, JAN. 8
Cash Stolen From Lockers
Two people reported someone stole cash from their unlocked lockers in the 600 block of Kenilworth between 8 and 11:30 a.m.

CDs Stolen From School
Someone stole 25 CDs from a cabinet at Franklin Middle School between Oct. 1 and Jan. 6.
