Two years on City Council, numerous presidencies and committee chairmanships with trade and charitable organizations. Extensive real estate experience applicable to economic development issues.
What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
I believe the three most important issues facing the city are economic development, infrastructure, and financial prudence. In the past two years I believe I have brought a useful perspective to City Council deliberations as a result of my real estate investment, leasing, and financial analysis experience. I am committed to seeing vacant storefronts leased and vacant commercial land developed to generate jobs and tax revenues and to provide needed goods and services to residents.
What will be your single most important priority in your term on City Council?
How long have you lived in Wheaton? If applicable, how long have you been involved with Wheaton?
Resident 41 years. Throughout this time I have been involved variously with church boards, Boy Scouts, and Rotary.
What's your favorite thing about Wheaton?
This community has a very deep bench of dedicated volunteers who each contribute to making this a friendly, welcoming, beautiful community.
What is the biggest problem in Wheaton?
The constant struggle to prioritize and execute great ideas without increasing the tax burden.
