Animal care volunteers work with zookeepers to perform routine feeding, cleaning and other care for domestic and wild animals. Volunteers must be 18 or older and are required to work a minimum of 4-hours per week. There is also a $20 fee, which covers the cost of the volunteer handbook, shirt and background check.
