Avy Groom of Wheaton died Wednesday, Jan. 25. She was 89.
She was born April 15, 1922 in Moline, IL.
She is survived by three daughters, Loretta, Kathy and Mary; six grandchildren, Christina, Brian, David, Stephanie, Carrie and Michael; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, John and Steve; and a sister, Millie.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; a grandson, Kevin; and a brother, George.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home, 430 Roosevelt Road, Wheaton. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at Williams-Kampp Funeral Home.
